Violinist Alexander Sitkovetsky was born into a musically privileged environment: his grandfather was Julian Sitkovetsky, his grandmother was Bella Davidovich, winner of the Chopin Competition, and his father is Dmitri Sitkovetsky. Already an internationally active violinist, he has released albums such as a collection of Mendelssohn’s early concertos (ORFEO761092) on the ORFEO label. His clear articulation, outstanding ensemble skills, and rich musicality are truly a testament to his innate talent.
