A miraculous collaboration in ambient music since the TEN's, namely the unit Gaussian Curve by Gigi Masin, Jonny Nash, and Young Marco. They have only released two albums, "CLOUDS" in 2014 and "DISTANCE" in 2017, but now they are back with two new songs, "Winter Sun" and "Fever Dream". Both songs originated from a recording session in Amsterdam in 2016, and were left as unfinished sketches for six years because they did not fit well on the album.However, the song is so important to the story of Gaussian Curve that it was re-examined and decided to be released in its entirety, mixed and rearranged, and now sees the light of day. "Winter Sun" is a warm, hazy, nostalgic, and faint world of Johnny Nash's guitar, Gigi Machine's rose piano, and Young Marco's Roland CR-78 drum machine, and it is a wonderful song at first listen. "Fever Dream," with its 303 bass line and 808 rhythm, and vocals by Gigi Machine, is an emotional piece full of rich possibilities that showcases the trio's new sound. Whether this album marks the beginning of a new stage or a long period of silence, one cannot help but wish for a restart of the trio. (KI, Product Department)
