MUSIC FROM MEMORY, the most important new age revival/ambient label of the post-Ten's era, celebrates its 10th anniversary with a monumental omnibus release. The project was conceived by MUSIC FROM MEMORY's co-founder Jamie Tiller, who tragically passed away in a tragic accident, and was instrumental in the development of "10". The album features songs by musicians from the label's early days, such as Gigi Machine, Joao Vivironi, and Mikal Turtle, as well as mid- and late-period artists such as Semmen and Ramsay. A beautiful piano balearic by Indonesian DJ DEA, a string piece by DAZION that straddles SAFE TRIP/ANIMAL DANCING, drone ambient by FOOLS, drummer for LA indie rock band GRIZZLY BEAR, NYC avant-garde Rare cassette recordings by musician VITO RICCI. JONNY NASH explores neo-ambient folk.Sleepy Ambient by TEREKKE, an ambient-rocker by way of L.I.E.S.; Natural Organic by Yuki Kuniyuki, a treasure from the north; OCEAN MOON by JON TYE, a veteran of the MLO label; and more.
