Debut album from the new generation of pop icons, Grimes! (2010) "Guidi Primes" is the debut album by one of the world's hottest new generation pop icons, Grimes! Claire Bouchet, a solo female artist based in Vancouver, Canada, released her fourth album "Art Angels" in 2003, which was ranked as the best album of the year by NME and Stereogum, as well as by the world's most prestigious music media. Today, she is a pop icon of the new generation and has been featured on the cover of fashion and culture magazines around the world. She taught herself how to compose music and began recording her own music at home, and her first album, "Guidi Primes," was released in 2010. This work was inspired by the fictional planet "Geidi Primes" from the popular series "Dune" by science fiction author Frank Herbert, of which Grimes herself is a fan. It is the origin of the Grimes style of pop music, mixing dubstep, disco, oriental music, 1990s R&B, and other music from various times and places!
