A Radiant Soprano from the Dutch Early Music Scene Johannette Sommer Sings Bach! Johannette Sommer, the star of the Dutch early music scene, has performed with the Dutch Bach Society and Bach Collegium Japan, and in recent years showcased her magnificent voice during Concerto Köln’s 2014 tour of Japan. Her second album with the ensemble “Tulip Consort,” which she founded in 2013, is a magnificent collection of Bach’s great works for soprano and oboe, featuring the renowned Dutch oboist Bert Schumann. Schneemann, who previously served as principal oboist with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic and the Rotterdam Philharmonic, is currently a member of the Netherlands Wind Ensemble and a professor at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. He has also collaborated with Sommer on *Handel: Arias* (CCSSA29209), and their magnificent harmony between soprano and baroque oboe has been highly acclaimed. Tokyo M Plus
