The debut album by Victor Cicli, a pianist who started his musical career in the 70's and has played with Gal Costa, Simoni, Seu Giorgi, Bebeu Gilberto, and others, and his son, Vic Delnour, who also plays with Cessa, Mamundi, and others! As the name of the unit means "coast" in Portuguese, the music is a perfect fusion of the rhythms of the coastline, such as the sound of waves and the roar of the sea, with the danceable Brazilian music of Azimuth, Artur Velokai, Jorge Ben, Marcos Valli, and others. The "Sabor de Você" features psychedelic percussion and bass with Velocai-like strings; "Viver O Mar" is a Marcos Valli-esque track with a pleasant rhythm that leads into a euphoric disco funk; "Descansar" injects house intensity into bossa nova; and "Sabor de Você" is a Brazilian-style track with a Brazilian feel. Descansar," a bossa nova with house intensity, and "Everything is Cool," a lighthearted tune with graceful strings. The release was produced by LA's Day End Records, a label that has released everything from Eddie Chacon to mellow Brazilian samba soul reissues to exotic, mondo Middle Eastern lo-fi synthwave.
