Description:
Formed on America's East Coast, the band was reorganized and renamed by members of garage bands SHAGS and BRAM RIGG SET. They released their sole album, PULSE, in 1969 on Trott Nossel's label, Poison Ring Records. Described as "right in the middle of US psychedelia morphing into hard rock," their sound was earth-shakingly heavy, bluesy hard rock. The album features nine standout tracks, including the irresistible "Too Much Lovin'" with its interplay of fuzz and harmonica and gritty vocals, and the superb "Another Woman" with its Cream-like, moist melody and arrangement. Disc 2 contains 17 newly discovered unreleased tracks. All recorded between 1967 and 1970 at Trott Nossel Studios (Synchron Studios). This 2CD set is the first official compilation of their surviving recordings.
