After releasing numerous critically acclaimed beat tapes and collaborating with fellow beatmaker Mndsgn, he moved to Los Angeles, where he rapidly established himself as a prominent figure in the city’s vibrant independent music scene. On his debut LP *Scotch*, released in 2014, he further expanded the aesthetic of the LA underground beat scene, welcoming live musicians while boldly incorporating the diverse sounds and musical influences he had cultivated over the years. The result was a cohesive body of work that firmly established him as a rising star in the fields of music and production. Since then, SWARVY. has collaborated with an impressive roster of artists, including Suzi Analogue, Quelle Chris, Earl Sweatshirt, Pink Siifu, Makaya McCraven, and the late Ras G. The first vinyl pressing of *Scotch* sold out quickly, and after remaining out of print for about a decade, it gained such popularity that it began trading at two to three times its original retail price. Now, EulipionArts has undertaken this long-awaited reissue. It includes a bonus 7-inch 45 RPM single featuring three previously unreleased tracks unearthed from the same session, reviving the long-unavailable *Scotch* in a new format—a highly anticipated reissue.
