The opening song "Velie" from "Anna Snow" is included! The singers are, of course, the same Norwegian a capella chorus "Kantus" as in the movie, and their beautiful voice harmony based on the traditional singing "Joik". .... The new album by the Norwegian women's choir Cantus is one answer to this question. The project features Norwegian singer Frode Felheim (Fjellheim), one of the musicians who keep the Sami tradition and culture alive today, who composed "Velie" sung by Cantus in the opening scene of Disney's animated film "Anna and the Snow Queen," and who sings the yoik and plays the synthesizer. He is in charge of the project. In "Hope. That which is in the people and unites them." Spes" - Latin for "hope" - was chosen for the album title. The impressive song "Velie" is played at the beginning of "Anna and the Snow Queen" with the words "Naa naa naa henya naa hai hai hai. The composer Fernheim's roots are in Lerøs (South Sami region), the region that served as the model for the setting of "Anna Snow. It is said that the model for Christoph, who cuts ice for a living, is also a Sami. The last song on this album, "Velie," is a revised version.(1/2) King International
