Description:
A reissue of the previously unreleased full-length album *SEASONS*, recorded in 1993 by CRYSTALWITCH from Connecticut, USA. The release, from HEAVENANDHELL, includes live recordings as bonus tracks. While rooted in 70s-influenced hard rock, their sound resonates with the Sunset Strip-style hard rock of the late 80s and early 90s, presenting an approach that places them on par with contemporary bands such as GREATWHITE, TESLA, KIX, and LYNCHMOB. Centered on bluesy guitar riffs and mid-tempo song structures, the album presents classic American hard rock, blending raw vocals with a solid band ensemble. Although this is a full-length album recorded at Nickel Recording Studio in Hartford, Connecticut, under engineer John Bolduc, it remained unreleased and buried for a long time because the band disbanded before its release. Although some of the tracks were unearthed and released as an EP in 1998, opportunities for the album to circulate in its complete form were limited. It is truly an archival work that captures an unreleased full-length American hard rock album from the early 1990s in its original form, serving as an important rediscovered recording that conveys the atmosphere of the scene at that time to the present day.
