Thee Sinseers, led by Chicano Soul movement leader Joey Quinones, represent the Southern California Soldies scene. The band's sound is developed by adding saxophone and trombone to the basic composition of keyboards, bass, guitar, and drums. The vintage soul sound was produced in a former dentist's office that was converted into a studio. The sound is typical of Colemine Records.
