American singer/songwriter Kevin Morby, also known as a former member of Woods and The Babies, releases his fourth solo album! Joined by singer/songwriter/producer Richard Swift, who has worked with Tahiti 80 and Foxygen! The album features a refreshing cover of "Caught in My Eye" by The Germs, an early LA punk band featuring Pat Smear of the Foo Fighters. The album was recorded at Kevin's home studio in California and features Megan Duffy (G) and Justin Sullivan (Dr) from The Babies, a rock band in which Kevin himself is a member. The album was also co-produced by singer/songwriter/producer Richard Swift (Tahiti 80, Foxygen, Tennis), who, in addition to producing, played drums, percussion, organ, back chorus, piano, and bass.The vocal parts were recorded at night, creating a fresh, moody, California-inspired masterpiece full of atmosphere and ambience, reminiscent of the tides of the Pacific Ocean lit by the twinkling stars in the big sky. It also includes a refreshing cover of "Caught in My Eye" by The Germs, an early LA punk band featuring Pat Smear of the Foo Fighters.
