American singer/songwriter Kevin Morby, formerly bassist for the folk-rock band Woods and guitarist for The Babies, has released his third solo album, "Singing Saw"! This is his first album after moving to Dead Oceans, and was influenced by an old piano he found when he moved to a new place and started playing it, as well as his participation in a recreation concert of The Band, resulting in a country-oriented album with piano playing. Producers include Sam Cohen (Apollo Sunshine, Yellowbirds), singer and model Hannah Cohen, and John Andrew of Woods.
