His three albums to date have received rave reviews across the board, and Pitchfork, a critical American website, has praised him as "a born folk singer. His selection to open for Grammy Award-winning artist Bon Yvelle brought him worldwide fame. He has finally completed his fourth masterpiece album, "Dark Bird is Home," three years after his last album! The album was recorded around the world, including at April Bass Studios, owned by Justin Vernon, a.k.a. Bon Yvelle, who is a great admirer of Bon Yvelle's work. The members of Bon Yvelle also participated in this album, which shows their love for The Torrest Man on Earth. The Dark Bird is Home is his most direct and personal work to date.The rich and cinematic soundscapes and warm, smoky vocals of the band's songs are sure to transcend the boundaries of folk music and strike a chord with all music fans!
