Yasuko Suzuki, the Inheritor of the French Flute School! A moving tribute to a French female composer! A moving tribute to French female composers by Yasuko Suzuki, a female flutist based in France. Yasuko Suzuki graduated at the top of her class in 1980-82 from the Conservatoire de Paris and the Conservatoire de Saint-Maur, France, where she studied flute. In the same year, she won prizes at the most prestigious competitions in Paris and in France. She is one of the most promising flutists of the French School, having studied under many great masters including Ida Rivera, who was an assistant to Jean-Pierre Rampal at the Paris Conservatory, Robert Errichet, Raymond Guillaud, and Alain Marion. She is currently active as a soloist. She is currently active as a soloist, but is also actively exploring the field of chamber music, Latin music, string and vocal music, piano music, and other arrangements. This album is a collection of previously unpublished arrangements for flute and piano by well-known composers such as Louise Falanch and Cécile Chaminade, as well as unknown composers such as Josephine Boulay and Clémence de Grandval.In addition, the Sonatina by Claude Allieu, composed in the same year as Henri Dutilleux's sonatina and premiered by the French flute master Jean-Pierre Rampal, is also included.
