Spanish guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Rafael Pacha, known for his work with modern symphonic rock bands like LAST KNIGHT and INNER PROSPEKT, and active since the 2020s with THE GUILDMASTER and others in THE SAMURAI OF PROG, presents his 2026 release! As indicated by the title 'With The Friends of (con)fusion', this album features collaborations with musicians closely connected to him, completed between 2024 and 2025. It includes Kimmo Porsti (drums/percussion), the central figure of THE SAMURAI OF PROG, who has already released two works under a joint name with Rafael. Also featured are San Francisco-born bassist Michael Manring (zon hyperbass), a disciple of Jaco Pastorius, and the high-quality technical fusion group STRANDBERG PROJECT led by Jan-Olof Strandberg (bass). (zon hyperbass), Jan-Olof Strandberg (b) who leads the high-caliber technical fusion group STRANDBERG PROJECT,Vocalist John Wilkinson (vo), whose singing style evokes Phil Collins, is active in bands like the GENESIS tribute band MAMA and Italy's ELLESMERE. alongside experienced, skilled players like Alessandro Di Benedetti (key) of MAD CRAYON, who frequently appears on SAMURAI OF PROG-related works, and Risto Salmi (sax), who performed with Kimmo as a member of MIST SEASON.
