A pioneering pianist who displays fearless curiosity and groundbreaking innovation, Daliescu champions inclusivity and diversity as part of her artistic journey, programming three consecutive seasons of "reprising and premiering important works by both male and female composers," and this album also features Clara Schumann and Edvard Grieg, presenting a new concerto combination. After learning of this concerto, composed by Clara Schumann in her early teens, and falling in love with its music full of dreams and astonishing virtuosity, Daliescu says that through this recording, "I was reminded of my responsibility to shed light on the talent of often overlooked female composers." Conducting the prestigious Philharmonia Orchestra is Chinese-born New Zealand conductor Lou Tianyi, who in 2020 won first prize at Italy's Guido Cantelli International Conducting Competition, which has produced such masters as Inbal, Muti, Michiyoshi Inoue, A. Fischer, and Sudahn, In the same year, he also won the Georg Solti International Conducting Competition.
