An album featuring the legendary Belgian-American pianist Ted Joselson performing masterful concertos by Grieg and Rachmaninoff is now available! Ted Joselson was born in Antwerp in 1954. He is known for an anecdote from when, at age 17, he auditioned for Eugene Ormandy, music director of the Philadelphia Orchestra, who reportedly told him, “I’ll play anything you want with you.” While a student at the Juilliard School, he signed a recording contract with RCA and went on to perform with many major orchestras and conductors, including Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Hailed at the time as “the reincarnation of Horowitz,” his albums have won numerous awards, including a Grammy nomination. This recording features Yoselson performing his favorite masterpieces—the iconic concertos by Grieg and Rachmaninoff—with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra. It is said to be one of a trilogy that forms a “companionship” with his previous album, *Lim Fantasy of Companionship* (SIGCD670).
