Description:
Thomas Ades as a "Pianist"! Janacek's solo piano works! Thomas Ades (1971-) is a popular British composer, conductor, and pianist who has been called the second coming of Benjamin Britten. In Japan, he was selected as a juror for the Toru Takemitsu Composition Award 2020, and many of his works have been performed and recorded by renowned artists. Ades has also recorded Janacek's piano works on his own solo piano album for EMI and on a Janacek album with Ian Bostridge and others, and in 2018 he gave a recital of Janacek's works in Brno, Janacek's hometown. Janacek's music, which he has continued to feature as a special composer, for which he received the "Leoš Janacek Prize," will demonstrate his true value as a pianist. Tokyo M-Plus
