Roxanna Panufnik (b.1968), daughter of Andrzej Panufnik, is a Polish-British composer who has been gaining attention worldwide with many of her works recorded on labels such as Signum, Chandos, Coro, and Delphian. This release from Signum Classics follows the much-talked-about "99 Words (SIGCD 519)," in which Roxanna Panufnik added music to John Tavener's text, and was recorded to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Panufnik's birth. The Birmingham Period Orchestra & Chorus, led by the renowned British conductor of ancient music Geoffrey Skidmore, and Ex Cassidra solemnly celebrate Panufnik's 50th birthday. Milapfest, an Indian music arts organization, will participate in "Unending Love," based on a poem by Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore. Tokyo M-Plus
