The album features works for piano and harp by composers active in Paris—including Ravel, Debussy, Mompou, and Taillufer—performed on two guitars. Many of the tracks are arranged by the performers themselves, eloquently demonstrating that the tonal colors, intimacy, and pure lyricism characteristic of these composers are ideally suited to the guitar, and that their harmonies translate beautifully to a guitar duo.
