A symphonic rock band formed in the late 90's with Antony Kalugin (keyboard), a keyboardist from Ukraine who is known for his solo activities and his work with bands such as SUNCHILD, and is currently away from his home country with his family due to the invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops. The band was formed in the late 90's by Antony Kalugin (keyboardist), a keyboardist from Ukraine. As you can guess from the title, this album is a sequel to "MESSAGES FROM AFAR: FIRST CONTACT" released in '17, and is the second part of the original story about "encounters and interactions with people from an unknown planet" (the album was released under the name SUNCHILD (This album seems to belong to a different stream from "THE DIVISION & ILLUSION OF TIME" released under the name of SUNCHILD).Like the previous album, it is based on the bright symphonic rock of the KARFAGEN style, which incorporates influences from 70's British rock such as CAMEL/YES/ELP into its own sound with an Eastern European color sense. The fantastic sound making makes this a concept album with a unique coloring among their past works. The smart jazz-rock/crossover orientation that reflects the results of their recent work, and the rustic sound of the flute are appropriately mixed with a sense of balance that is not "too" vintage, and it is an absolute gem that boasts a level of perfection that exceeds that of their previous work!
