Legendary artist Bobby Weir was one of the founding members of the band and is highly regarded as one of the most unique rhythm guitarists in the rock world. He continues to bring the Dead tradition and culture into the modern age through his energetic activities with the Wolf Brothers and with John Mayer's Dead and Company. He celebrated the 50th anniversary of his solo debut this past April with a special two-night performance at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.Taking the stage as part of his own group, Bobby Weir & The Wolf Brothers featuring The Wolfpack, he was joined on stage by a string and brass quintet, pedal steel player Barry Sless, and special guests Tyler Childers and With Brittney Spencer, he performed his memorable debut album "ACE" live in its entirety, sending the assembled audience into a frenzy of excitement. This time, his debut album "ACE" will be released in a deluxe edition to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its release, in a 2-CD set and a black analog vinyl version. The new 50th anniversary edition will be released in two formats: a 2-CD set and a black analog version, which will include the latest remastered version of the original album and a live album featuring live performances of all the songs from the album performed at a special concert in April this year. This 50th anniversary edition also includes liner notes written by Jesse Jarnoff, one of the hosts of the "Good Ol' Greatful Deadcast" and author of "Heads: A Biography Of Psychedelic America.
