Now, her third album, *GIVING YOU THE BEST THAT I GOT*, released in 1988—her first and only No. 1 album in the U.S.—is being reissued on vinyl. This album also reached No. 1 on the US R&B Albums chart—her second consecutive No. 1—and was certified triple platinum by the RIAA in 1989. The title track, released as the first single from *GIVING YOU THE BEST THAT I GOT*, peaked at No. 3 on the US Hot 100 chart, becoming Baker’s biggest hit in the United States. Additionally, Baker won three Grammy Awards and three Soul Train Music Awards for this album.
