This is a CD reissue of Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson's 1996 solo project album "VICTOR" with 4 bonus tracks! The album features remixes by Alex himself, and the cover has been redesigned and reissued in a new edition. With over 40 million albums sold worldwide, and one of only three rock bands in the world to have ever win a gold or platinum disc (the other two being the Beatles and the Rolling Stones), the Canadian band is one of the most popular rock bands of all time. Rush, Canada's most powerful rock trio of all time, is a legendary rock band that has been loved by people of all ages.Since their debut in 1974, they have released numerous studio albums, best-of albums, compilations, and live recordings, and their progressive yet catchy sound style continues to attract fans around the world. Even though they regrettably announced their de facto cessation of activities in 2018, their brilliant body of work continues to fascinate rock fans around the world without fading. Now, Rush fans and rock fanatics alike can enjoy two reissues of their brilliant works. One is "VICTOR," the 1996 solo project album by Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson, and the other is "MY FAVOURITE HEADACHE," the only solo album by bassist Geddy Lee, released in 2000! These reissues will be released on CD and analog vinyl, respectively.Released on January 9, 1996, VICTOR is Alex Lifeson's debut solo album. The album was written, produced, and mixed by Alex himself, and features guests such as Edwin, lead vocalist of I Mother Earth, Les Claypool, bassist of Primus, and Lisa Dalbello, a talented vocalist also from Canada. The album was produced with guests such as Edwin, Primus bassist Les Claypool, and Lisa Dalbello, another talented Canadian vocalist. The album, which will be released in two formats (CD and 2-CD clear analog), includes a complete remix by Alex Lifeson himself, plus four instrumental tracks previously available only on Alex's website as bonus tracks, for a total of 15 tracks. This is a new edition of "VICTOR" with 15 tracks in total, including 4 additional instrumental tracks that were previously available only on Alex's website.In addition to the soundtrack, the impressive 2024 artwork, based on the original artwork and reworked by Fantoons Animation Studios, is used, giving not only the soundtrack but also the artwork a truly "new look" and a fresh new look.
