Description:

This is one of the turning points that caused a sensation on both sides of the issue with its bold introduction of brass sections and percussion, along with the soft melodies of the era. Guitarist ROBBY KRIEGER appears in half of the song credits to replace JIM MORRISON, who had begun to focus more on poetry while dealing with personal issues, and his pop talents are on full display. The catchy No. 1 single "TOUCH ME," which became the band's biggest hit in the U.S. and is said to embody the DOORS style of MOTOWN; the wild shamanism of "SHAMAN'S BLUES," a waltz-style tune with a country touch, and the steel guitar-like "ROBBY. The driving tune "EASY RIDE" with a country touch, "RUNNIN' BLUE" which is a heavier and more dizzying DOORS style heavy country, the beautiful and gentle pop ballad "WISHFUL SINFUL", and the improvised and fragmented readings that take on various musical forms. The last experimental long title track "THE SOFT PARADE", etc., is a great album with a rich variety, swinging somewhat like DYLAN or ZAPPA, and you can enjoy the balance between the pop charm and jazz background that DOORS as a band had in the first place, but still with a dangerous JIM MORRISON's vocals. The balance of the band's pop charm and jazz background, and JIM MORRISON's vocals, which are still dangerous, can be enjoyed. AAA cut from the original stereo master tape by Kevin Gray / 180 gram heavyweight vinyl / glossy gatefold jacket with rare photos and detailed liner notes by David Dutkowski of The Doors Archive Includes.
