Robert Hunter is best known as the main lyricist for the cult and charismatic Grateful Dead. To celebrate his work as a solo artist and to reintroduce his exceptional artistry to the world, we are proud to present the second installment of the archival series that we launched last year! This time, the 50th anniversary edition of his second solo album "TIGER ROSE" released in 1975! This 2CD deluxe edition includes the latest remastering of the original album and many previously unreleased alternate versions on 2 CDs! Robert Hunter, Grateful Dead lyricist and author of many classic songs, joined the Dead in 1967 and wrote many lyrics for the band until the Dead broke up, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Grateful Dead in 1994, and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame with Jerry Garcia in 2015. Garcia, and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame along with Jerry Garcia, the legendary lyricist. But his talents are not limited to songwriting, as he has also demonstrated his extreme artistry in his music. The first in a series of career-spanning archives exploring the art of Robert Hunter, who is more than just a major lyricist for the Dead, last year saw the release of a deluxe edition of his 1974 solo debut album, "TALES OF THE GREAT RUM RUNNERS". Now, the deluxe edition of his second album "TIGER ROSE" released in 1975, the second in the archive series, is now available! The 50th anniversary edition of "TIGER ROSE" will include the latest 2025 remastering of the songs from the original album, a 2-CD deluxe edition with 9 different versions of the songs from the album, and the latest remastering of the songs from the original album. The album will be released in two formats: a 2-CD deluxe edition that includes the latest remastered material from the album and 9 different versions of songs from the album, and an analog version that includes the latest remastered material from the original album. Like the Grateful Dead's anniversary reissue series and the deluxe edition of his first album released last year, the remastered material on this release was restored and sped up through a plagent process by Grammy Award-winning engineer David Glasser.
