Doobie Brothers
Description:
This is the right path for us to follow... The Doobie Brothers, the No. 1 band at the pinnacle of the American rock scene, are absolutely indispensable in the history of music! In addition to Patrick Simmons, Tom Johnston, and John McPhee, Michael McDonald, who accompanied the Doobie Brothers on their 50th anniversary tour, has returned to the Doobie Brothers' lineup to create a new studio album, "WALK THIS ROAD", which is a long awaited album with a top quality rock sound that combines the individual personalities and talents of the three members at a higher level. WALK THIS ROAD" is now complete! Born in 1970, the band made their debut album in 1971, and since then, their guitar-driven rock sound, superb harmony work, and great rock tracks rooted in their roots have attracted music fans all over the world for over 40 years, making them an indispensable part of the American rock scene. In 2023, the Doobie Brothers visited Japan as part of their 50th anniversary tour, and performed with Michael McDonald on this tour. The Doobie Brothers also performed in Japan in 2023 as part of their 50th anniversary tour, and it is still fresh in our minds that they captivated Japanese audiences with their amazing performance. The Doobie Brothers, the pinnacle of the American rock scene and legendary hit makers, will release their latest studio album "Walk This Road" on June 6 on Rhino Records! This latest release, which will feature 10 songs, features the return of former member Michael McDonald to the band, who participated in the songwriting and recording of the album along with Patrick Simmons, Tom Johnston, and John McPhee. Also recorded in the winter of 2024 with producer John Shanks, this latest album, WALK THIS ROAD, is a showcase of the Doobie Brothers' unique songwriting process and diverse musical style. All three songwriting members worked one-on-one with producer John Shanks, bringing their individual talents to their trusted producer and songwriting partner, Shanks. The result is a cohesive work of art with the distinctive Doobie Brothers sound. The result is this latest studio album, which, as noted in the credits, encompasses the musical styles of each of the three main songwriters and their individual contributions to the songwriting process.
