A tribute album to alto saxophonist and composer Charlie Parker, known as the father of modern jazz. 60 years after his death in 2015, this album was planned as a tribute to Charlie Parker. The album features new lyrics by master producer Larry Klein and features top jazz vocalists such as Gregory Porter, Candace Springs, and Melodie Gardeau to represent Charlie Parker's life through a single album. The album also features tenor saxophonist Danny McCaslin, who gained attention when he was featured on David Bowie's posthumous album "★," as well as Ben Monder (g), Mark Juliana (ds), and other musicians who are at the forefront of today's jazz scene.
