Formed in 1969, ZZ Top is a three-piece rock band from Texas that has influenced many bands since their debut album "ZZ Top's First Album" in 1970. The band is widely loved by rock fans across the U.S. for their straight-ahead boogie guitar sound based on blues and Tex-Mex styles, humorous visuals, and more.Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones was the presenter at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2004 to celebrate. For 42 years since their debut, the band has consisted of Billy Gibbons (g, vo), Dusty Hill (b, vo), and Frank Beard (ds). The two frontmen are well-known for their "promised" looks with long beards and sunglasses.This is the first release on Rick Rubin's American Recordings label, and his first new album in 9 years since his 14th, "Mescalero" in 2003. Produced by Rick Rubin and Billy Gibbons.
