YES’s 19th studio album, *Magnification*, is now available as a 180g double LP with half-speed cutting. It delivers a meticulously crafted, high-fidelity sound and features a gatefold jacket with new artwork based on the original 2001 design. Released in September 2001, *Magnification* is the first studio album by the legendary progressive rock band YES to feature an orchestra since their 1970 album *Time and a Word*. Larry Groupe handled the orchestral arrangements, and the San Diego Symphony Orchestra performed them. The album includes the title track “Magnification,” as well as “Don’t Go” and “In the Presence Of,” among others; these songs were also performed during the accompanying Yes Symphonic Tour. Additionally, Chris Squire provides lead vocals on “Can You Imagine.” This is the last Yes studio album on which Jon Anderson provided vocals, and, due to the absence of a dedicated keyboardist, it is also the first album in Yes’s history to be recorded as a four-piece band. The participating members are Jon Anderson (lead vocals, MIDI guitar), Steve Howe (acoustic/electric/ pedal steel guitar, backing vocals), Chris Squire (bass, backing vocals, lead vocals on “Can You Imagine”), and Alan White (drums, piano, backing vocals).
