This is a unique two-tenor formation featuring Miles Group colleagues Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter, and Sam Rivers, a senior from his Boston days. This is the only record of competition for Shorter - Rivers. All songs are Tony's originals, and thrilling improvisations ensue. The folk-tinged "Love Song" featuring Rivers is beautiful.
