Description:
Newly mastered for vinyl at Abbey Road Studios and housed in an eye-catching sleeve reproducing the original CD artwork, limited edition yellow vinyl with sleeve notes by The Rough Guide To Reggae author and reggae expert Steve Barrow. The original 1996 black vinyl LP now sells for over £400, and the limited Japanese reissue in 2021 has already skyrocketed. A pioneer of the ska movement, he arranged and played guitar on Millie Small's "My Boy Lollipop" (UK No. 2, May 1964) in 1963. This was the first international ska/reggae hit and, for many British music fans, the first song of this "exotic" genre.
