Following the release of "Chronicles: 60 Years of The Chieftains" last year, Claddagh Records has re-launched with a worldwide licensing deal with Universal Music Ireland, and now, following the release of "Chronicles: 60 Years of The Chieftains", a special, previously unreleased live album is now available! This previously unreleased project by The Owsley Stanley Foundation and Claddagh Records is the last ever work by legendary member of The Chieftains, Paddy Moloney, and was released on October 1, 1973 by The Chieftains. Owsley Stanley, known as Bear to his friends, was a diverse talent and an icon of the 1960's. He was a member of The Chieftains from the 1960's to the 1960's. As such, his profound influence on other artists, musicians, and sound engineers is well documented. When Bear was soundman for the Grateful Dead, he began making recordings to improve his craft, evaluate equipment, and fine-tune microphone placement. He called these recordings "sonic journals" and used them to help improve his approach to live concert sound, which are maintained by the nonprofit Owsley Stanley Foundation. It also includes more than 1,300 recordings spanning nearly every musical idiom from the 1960s to the 1980s by Miles Davis, Johnny Cash, the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Fleetwood Mac, Janis Joplin, and more than 80 other artists. Included are more than 1300 recordings across nearly every musical idiom by more than 80 artists, including.180g heavy vinyl LP.Gatefold version of the 2CD with 1 head of CD.
