Urtext, Mexico's largest independent label founded by flutist Marisa Canales in 1995, is pleased to announce the return of Patrick Gallois, a leading French flute virtuoso who was principal player of the Orchestre National de France at the age of 21 and is currently active as a conductor. Patrick Gallois, a leading French flute virtuoso, has been collaborating with the Trio d'Argent, a French flute trio active since 1984. The "Concerto Grand Quartet, Op. 46" is one of the masterpieces of French composer and flutist Eugène Walchier, who studied flute with Jean-Louis Tullou and composition with Antonin Reichier at the Paris Conservatory and left over 100 chamber music pieces, while the "Concerto Grand Quartet, Op. 46" was composed by Eugène Walchier, who worked mainly in Denmark and was called "Beethoven the Flute" because of his style of writing. Enjoy the simple and beautiful sound of four wooden flutes in "Grand Quartet, Op.103" by Friedrich Kuhlau, a German composer, pianist and music teacher who was called "Beethoven of the Flute" because of his style.
