This disc contains chants suitable for the Advent Mass preceding the Christmas feast in the original order of the Mass from the historically important Graz 807 manuscript, which is believed to have been compiled at St. Augustine's monastery in Klosterneuburg, Austria, in the early 12th century. Interspersed throughout the program are embellished choral short passages from the Offertorium, an unusual chant (Benedictus es), and a four-voice arrangement of the conmunio from Heinrich Isaak's (c.1450-1517) "Corallis Constantinus", giving the album a varied feel.
