Description:

Chopin Society Series "NIFC"! The "Russian Heavy Tank" Demigenco makes its debut! The "Russian Heavy Tank" Demijenko, who has been active in "Hyperion", "AGPL", and "ONYX", will appear in the Polish National Chopin Society's "Narodowy National Chopin Society" (NIFC) series! The "Russian heavyweight" Nikolai Demijenko, who has been active in "Hyperion", "AGPL", and "ONYX", makes his first appearance on the independent label "NIFC" of the Polish National Chopin Society (Narodowy Instytut Fryderyka Chopina)! Since his debut in the world after winning prizes at the Montreal International Competition in 1976 and the Tchaikovsky International Competition in 1978, Demijenko has been focusing on "Chopin" and "Russian music" as the two wings of his repertoire. Chopin" and "Russian music" as the two wings of his repertoire.Demijenko's performance of Chopin, his specialty, which he has been playing on the modern piano, on a Playell 1848 fortepiano is sometimes lyrical, and sometimes active and aggressive! Demijenko's charm lies not only in his overwhelming technique, but also in his outstanding control of dynamics and the expressive power he brings out from the piano in a wide variety of expressions. Incidentally, the piano Demigienko has been using since "Bach Piano Transcriptions Vol. 2" (CDA 67324) recorded in August 2001 is the famous Italian instrument Fazioli, which was chosen as the official piano for the International Chopin Piano Competition. It is interesting to compare Chopin played on the Fazioli (ONYX, AGPL, etc.) with Chopin played on the Pleyel fortepiano by Demijenko. The "Russian heavy tank" and the "fortepiano of Chopin's lifetime".This somewhat mysterious combination of Chopin ...... is pretty hot. Tokyo M Plus
