Dmitry Abrogin plays the last instrument Chopin owned!Chopin's "Last Works" by Dmitry Abrogin, winner of the 2018 First International Chopin Competition for Period Instruments. Dmitry Abrogin studied with Vladimir Trop in Moscow and later studied period piano knowledge and performance at the University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt. He has won numerous other competitions besides the Chopin International Competition for Period Instruments and was the winner of the 10th International German Pianist Award in October 2021.In 2019, 2020, and 2022, the Polish National Chopin Institute organized in Warsaw the "Chopin and His Europe" festival in Warsaw and the Miami International Piano Festival (USA). He has also performed throughout Europe, not only as a soloist but also in the field of chamber music. He has extensive recording experience, and in this album, he uses the Playl period piano that Chopin last used to bring back to life the sounds of Chopin's lifetime. Tokyo M-Plus
