As the third live recording from the 19th Competition in 2025, featuring Ryu Tianyao, who placed fourth at the age of 16 when he competed! At the 19th Chopin International Piano Competition, held over approximately three weeks starting October 3, 2025, at the Warsaw Philharmonic (Filharmonia Narodowa w Warszawie), Liu Tianyao, just 16 years old at the competition's opening (turning 17 during the event), Lyu Tianyao (Tianyao Lyu, 呂天瑤) captivated the entire venue not only with her astonishing and commanding performances, but also with her charming character, evident in her sparkling tiara and the heart-shaped gesture after the second preliminary round. She brilliantly secured 4th place and the Concerto Prize. As described by local Polish media as "angelic, heavenly," her performance on stage was dazzlingly brilliant. Even after leaving the piano and stage, her fairy-like demeanor captured the audience's hearts. She fully displayed her innate talent as an artist—a pianist, a young Chopin interpreter, and a charismatic performer. Her pianism evolved throughout the competition, from the first round to the finals and the winners' concert. Particularly in the third preliminary round, the narrative woven through her performance of the "Funeral March" and the closing "Berceuse" confirms the brilliant future of this young new star of the piano world who appeared in Warsaw.
