Description:
The new recording of the Janyevich Violin Concerto, played by Silanosian, is now available! Polish violinist Shushanu Silanosian once again takes up Feliks Janiewicz's Violin Concerto. Following the recording of No. 3, which was featured on the previous release (NIFCCD152), this time she has recorded the first violin concerto by Janiewicz, who is considered the first Polish composer to write a violin concerto. This recording is also coupled with Mozart's Symphony, conducted by Martina Pastushka and {oh!} Orkiestra. Shushanu Shiranosyan, who studied with Zakhar Bron at the Zurich University of Music since 2002, became concertmaster of the St. Gallen Symphony Orchestra (Switzerland), where he met Reinhard Goebel and immersed himself in the study of ancient music. She has risen to become one of the leading violinists in Baroque music today, touring as a soloist with the Venice Baroque Orchestra and Les Siecle.In the 2024/25 season, he was invited back to the "Chopin and His Europe" International Music Festival with {oh!} Orkestra Historitina, and is expanding his activities even further.
