STRANGE POP, a solo project by Michal Dziadosz (vo/b/synth/fl etc.), formerly of ILUZJON, is back with its 4th album in '25! The album is a direct reflection of his admiration for 70's rock, with an emphasis on analog equipment, but with feedback from his own musical background, ranging from 80's style synth pop and 90's alternative rock, to recent vaporwave/electronica/trip-hop. STRANGE POP has been gaining recognition for their lyrical melodic rock sound with each new album, but this time they have decided to focus on the main theme of "reminiscing about their childhood utopia," and have released a new album that references everything from PINK FLOYD/MARILLION/David Sylvian to TANGERINE DREAM/Jean-Michel Jarre, as well as the music of the late 80's and early 90's. This time, the album is a fusion of traditional art rock and nostalgic 80s synth-pop sound, with references to PINK FLOYD/MARILLION/David Sylvian to TANGERINE DREAM/Jean Michel Jarre, and a handmade warmth that is similar to pop music of the past.The new elements include a quiet acoustic guitar and foggy acoustic digital synths, and the new and nostalgic organic sound full of STRANGE POP is a great work!
