Formed in 1971 by Jozef Skrzek (b/key/vo), Apostolis Anthimos (g), and Jerzy Piotrowski (drs/perc), this band is one of the most famous bands in the Polish progressive rock scene, After their record debut in January '75, the band recorded a soundtrack for a documentary film in January '75, but it was not made into a movie for a long time. The studio session material finally saw the light of day in "IMPRESJE", a compilation box released by Metal Mind Productions in '05, about 30 years after its creation, and is now being re-titled and released separately for the first time by GAD Records in Poland! This album was recorded between their debut album "SBB" (1974) and "Nowy Holyzont" (1975), and has a powerful heavy psychedelic and jazz-rock sound, which is a mixture of these two albums.The band's raw trio ensemble, which is more united than on the debut album, brings a strong sense of tension, making this a must-listen for fans of the band, even though it is based on sticky improv/jams. The band's drum play is so raucous that it is overwhelming from the start, and "Dla Egona" is the heaviest of all SBB's albums. It is one of the most important recordings in the history of SBB, containing many interesting songs that can be considered the missing link between the first and second albums, such as "360 do tylu", which is still often included in live setlists. The aforementioned "LOST TAPES VOL.1" is already hard to find both new and used, so this is a great reissue for fans!
