The great 20th century Polish composer active in Poznań. The music of Poladowski is shaken by the prodigious Borowicz! The young master musician Ukas Borowicz, who will lead the next generation of the Polish musical world, has been promoting a series of discoveries of works by unknown Polish composers. After beginning his musical studies in his hometown of Błodzwabek, he studied composition and music theory with Henryk Opieński at the Bydgoszcz Conservatory and the Poznań State Conservatory. From 1930, he was a professor of composition and music theory at the Poznań State Conservatory and director of the chamber orchestra, but the outbreak of World War II changed his environment. He was arrested and deported to Opatów when Nazi Germany invaded Poland in 1939. He spent a difficult time there until the end of the war, working as an organist and choral conductor. After the war, he returned to Poznań and was reinstated at the Poznań State Conservatory of Music. Known not only as a musician but also as a photographer, he served for a long time as president of the Poznań branch of the Polish Union of Artistic Photographers.The style of his compositions is unique, with neoclassical, late-romantic, and avant-garde influences. All three works, including the Violin Concerto, which combines neoclassical and modern sounds, the Double Bass Concerto, which follows the late Romantic style, and the Symphony No. 3, which shows the influence of Karol Szymanowski, are excellent works born in the turbulent 20th century Poland. The enthusiastic performance by Łukasz Borowicz and the Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra also plays a major role in introducing Poladowski's works. Tokyo M-Plus
