Pawel Wkaszewski is one of Poland's most popular composers of choral and religious works in Japan, and in his native Poland he holds the important position of Vice President of the prestigious Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Symphony No. 3, released in 2010, is a work rich in choral textures and Latin soprano solo parts. The "Symphony No. 4," just released in 2020, uses Kronos and Kairos, the deified Greek mythological gods of "time," as titles for each movement, representing different time periods. The skillful use of chorus and its reflection in the music shows a skill that is indeed that of Ukaszewski, and enhances the scale of the magnificent symphony. Tokyo M-Plus
