Young Danish pianist makes an impressive debut with Beethoven's masterpiece! This is the debut album by Danish pianist Christian Lisøya (b.1996). Christian Lisøya studied at the Fauerskow Music School in Central Jylland and Hazsten and the Gradus Piano School in Aarhus, and since 2015 with Birgitta Vollenweber and Elder Nebolsin at the Hans Eisler Music Academy Berlin. after graduation in February 2020, he will begin his studies in the fall. Jens Elvekea at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, and from the fall of 2022 with Julia Mustonen-Dahlqvist at the Ingessund Piano Center in Sweden. During her studies, she has appeared as a soloist, chamber musician, and song collaborator in concerts and festivals in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Lithuania, and Georgia. She was awarded first prize in the 2021 Luz Langå Competition, in which she participated with soprano Louise McClellan Jacobsen. For her first album to be recorded, Lithuania has given the title "A Testament to Hope."The "Eroica Variations" and "Six Variations for Piano" Beethoven completed before writing his "Heiligenstadt Testament" in October 1802, and the "Appassionata Sonata" he composed between 1804 and 1805 after his return to Vienna. Two works "written by Beethoven on the verge of despair, full of life, energy, and humor" (Christian Risseya) and with "the despair and hope that he experienced" built in.
