Elisabet Holmegaard Nilsen (1993-) is a Danish pianist. She studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen with Amelje Malling, Niklas Sverrev, and Marianna Sirinyan, and her debut album, in which she played J. S. Bach's English Suite No. 2, Schumann's The Clown from the Vienna Carnival, and Prokofiev's Piano Sonata No. 6 ( DACOCD 761) was released in 2015. The second album is the "32 Variations," considered one of the masterpieces of Beethoven's mid-period piano works. The "Chaconne" is the most frequently performed of Carl Nilsen's piano works due to its harmonic and poetic sensitivity, its conceptual size, and its virtuosity. And Schumann's "Carnival". This is the program of her debut concert, which is reported to have been well received. Tokyo M-Plus
