Pomrad is back as a vocalist with his latest album "Silver Blue", his first in 7 years! The album is a genre-crossing groove that fuses 80s funk, 90s rave, and UK soul! Pomrad has reinvented himself as a vocalist with his latest release, "Silver Blue," a fusion of 80s Fusion Funk, Raw Electro-Dance, and 90s Rave Grooves, creating a unique Cosmic Crooners style. It is reminiscent of Prince, Hudson Mohawke, and Herbie Hancock. This album pays homage to the iconic African-American artists of the 80s such as Prince, One Way, The Gap Band, Whitney Houston, Street Soul (The Antipode), 90s R&B (Is It True), and Grotesque 2-Step, Grotesque 2-Step (Sad Dancer), and other UK-style genres. The layered sound of synthesizers like Yamaha DX7, Roland D-50, Simmons SD-5, and Korg Opsix gives "Silver Blue" an otherworldly atmosphere, from the innocent funk reminiscent of an 80's TV show intro (How It Feels) to a cheap synth ballad (Sweet Dear Lucky) to Happy Clapping turning Hardstyle (Suzy Got Lost).
