Aboubakar Traore, from Bobo Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, is a master of the ngoni, a traditional West African stringed instrument. The project is to perform the traditional repertoire of their native Burkina Faso with the top musicians of the Balima Orchestra. Their debut album "Tama Tama" was nominated for the Belgian "Octaves de la Musique 2021" and the band was selected for the showcase of "Visa For Music (2023)" in Morocco and "Belgian Worldwide Music Night (2023)" in Brussels.
