Born in Salé, Morocco in 1938. After studying music at the Rabat Conservatory, he moved to Paris in 1962 to become a pupil of Max Deutsch, and later became his assistant, composer AHMED ESSYAD, who has released a compilation of sound sources from 1972 to 1974 from the famous series "Early Electronic Series" presented by SUB ROSA. AHMED ESSYAD is now available on CD/LP! Inspired by the traditional music of the Berber people of Morocco, AHMED ESSYAD's electronic music is so original that words such as "exotic" and "spiritual" cannot fully describe it.
