Trea, the national diva of the Netherlands, released a cover album of Michael Jackson songs that was a huge hit here in Japan. This album was recorded in the United States with a stellar lineup. Producer John Clayton, who is not only a bassist but also a composer and arranger who has provided compositions and arrangements for such illustrious artists as Diana Krall, Quincy Jones, and Natalie Cole, was invited to record at Capitol Tower Studios in L.A., famous for recordings by Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and others. The legendary engineer Al Schmidt, well known for his work on Burt Bacharach's Traincha, participated as the engineer.Backed by the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, ranked number one by Downbeat magazine and considered the pinnacle of contemporary big bands, they covered Marvin Gaye's classic "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing," and Stevie Wonder's "You and I." It also includes the soulful and funky new song "Everything Has Changed." Candy Dulfer and Frank McComb also participate as guests!
